[edit] Creating a Guild
A player may form a guild with any unguilded character by clicking the Guild button on the paperdoll. This will open the Guild Creation page, where you will be prompted to enter a name for your guild, along with a 3 letter abbreviation for your guild. You will be charged 25,000 gold pieces to create a guild. Guild Stones are no longer placed in player housing to start a new guild.
You can check the Ignore Guild Invites checkbox on the Guild Creation page to automatically ignore any guild invitations from other players.
[edit] Ranks and Permissions
There are 5 ranks in a UO guild:
- Guild Leader – The head of the guild. There is only one Guild Leader.
- Warlord – The war masters of the guild.
- Emissary – Emissaries are the guild’s recruiters.
- Member - Regular guild members with voting privileges.
- Ronin - Ronin are the mercenaries of the guild, and can only participate in wars.
Each guild rank has different abilities, defined by the following chart:
