[edit] Bulk Order Deeds

[edit] Introduction

What are bulk order deeds?:

Bulk order deeds are orders requested by a Blacksmith, Tailor, or Hunter NPC. By completing these bulk order deeds you get rewards.

[edit] How to get Bulk Order Deeds

[edit] Requirements

There are three kinds of Order Deeds;

Type of deed Requires(skill) Picture
Smith Bulk Order DeedBlacksmithingImage:smithbod.jpg
Tailor Bulk Order DeedTailoringImage:tailorbod.jpg
Hunter Bulk Order DeedA combat skillImage:hunterbod.jpg
  • You require the Expert(70) level in Blacksmithing to have a chance of getting a smith BOD.
  • You require the Expert(70) level in Tailoring to have a chance of getting a tailor BOD.
  • You require the Journeyman(60) level in a combat skill to have a chance of getting a hunter BOD.

[edit] Acquiring the deed

Once you have reached the requirements met, you will have to make your way to the respective shops. Since hunter BODs are not yet released, I have chosen to leave them out from the rest of the guide. I have made a table below listing what BOD correlates with which shop;

The Hunter BODs come from an NPC just roaming around two locations so far

In the tailor or smith shop, you are to sell merchandise to the vendors. When you do, you have a chance of getting a job offer, a window will appear. You can either choose to accept the job offer or decline. So if you want a tailor BOD you would have to have a char with the requirements needed and go to a tailor shop and sell any tailored item that you can make yourself(You don't have to make them yourself). Same goes to smith and blacksmithing merchandise!

  • Never decline a job offer seeing as it's good to have more BODs and if you decline you will have to wait equally as long as if you've accepted to get a new job offer.
  • Sell merchandise 1 by 1 instead of selling bulk(In explanation: 5 at a time). You have equal chance of getting offered a bulk order job.

There are also two types of BODs, small and large ones. You have a lower chance getting a job offer for a large BOD than you have for small BOD. You can read more about them below.

[edit] Using Bulk Order Deeds

Once you get get a BOD, you will have to fill it out to get rewards. To claim rewards, simply drop a filled BOD onto a NPC that matches the order. Example: Drop smith BODs on a blacksmiths, and tailor BODs on tailors. There are two different BOD types, large and small;

[edit] Small BODs

If you get a small BOD, they will be labeled "Bulk Order Deed". If you double click them, you will get a window displaying something similar to this;

Image:Bulkorder.jpg

This particular BOD is an order for ten exceptionally made leather gloves. Once you have made an exceptional leather glove, you click the "Combine this deed with the item requested". The "Amount finished" will display how many of the requested item you have combined with the deed. For an example;

Image:oneleatherglove.jpg

In this picture I have combined one pair of exceptional leather gloves with the deed. Once you've finished the required amount, you can drop these on the vendor type(Tailor or blacksmith) you got it from to gain a reward.

  • Tip: To gain greater rewards, save your small BODs for large BODs (Read about them in the next section)

[edit] Large BODs

You obtain large BODs the same way you get small BODs, you get a job request and you either choose to accept or decline(Always accept). If you double click the Large BOD you will get a window displaying something similar to this;

Image:Largebulkorder.jpg

As opposed to the small bulk order deed, you may notice you need multiple items for this BOD. More importantly you do not fill a large bulk order deed the same way as a small bulk order deed. You will need small BODs with the requested merchandise filled and combine with them with the large BOD to fill it.

Example: If we go by the picture above, you can see that it requests 10 chainmail coifs, leggings and tunics. You would need to have a small BOD for 10 chainmail coifs, 10 chainmail leggings and 10 chainmail tunics filled out already, and combine them with the large BOD to complete it.

As opposed to small BODs, when you then drop your large BOD onto the npc(Tailor/blacksmith) you have a higher chance of getting greater rewards/wider selection of rewards.

Large BODs for the win!

[edit] Bulk Order Book

Image:Book.jpg

If you take my advice and collect small BODs to fill out large BODs in order to have the chance of getting better rewards and special rewards, you'll need a way to organize your BODs. Instead of having all your BODs dis-organized in your bankbox and/or house, you can acquire and use a bulk order book.

By dragging and dropping BODs onto a bulk order deed, you can store them inside and view them at any time. You can check what they are and how how full they are(Goes for large BODs as well!).

Image:Bulk order bsook.jpg

This is how a bulk order book appears as when you double click it(You must have at least 1 BOD inside to open the book). I can simply view what BODs I have inside, and how completed they are. As in this picture, I have only filled one of the BODs partially(1 leather glove in the leather glove small BOD). To access a BOD inside your bulk order book, simply click the arrow next to the BOD you wish to release and it will drop into your backpack(

  • Bulk order books are blessed, you cannot lose by dying or thieves(Remember, blessed items CAN be dropped if you put them in a bag inside your backpack, they will then drop at death as a part of the bag).

[edit] Filter

The bulk order book has a filter feature for those of you who have endless amounts of BODs, simply click the "Set Filter" button in top left corner of the window you get when you double click the book(Picture displayed above). The filter should appear as shown;

Image:filter.jpg

As you can see, you have plenty of options to choose from when you want to narrow down your choices. Are you looking for the last piece to complete your large BOD? Filter!

  • Remember to reset your filter, once you are done, to display all BODs.
