GM safe trade ticket
What is GM safe trade ticket?
GM safe trade ticket is a ticket that allow the holder to perform a trade safely with another party with a GM acting as a referee. This ticket is obtainable from the donation center.
For example, player A sell a castle to player B for $100 USD
Either player A or player B will summon a GM with a safe trade ticket, they will advice the GM of their trade clearly and with both party agreeing. Player B will then send $100 USD via Paypal to player A, once player A have received the money, he will tell the GM that he got the money and the Paypal transaction ID. The GM will make note of this transaction ID, in case of any payment dispute at a later stage (e.g. credit card charge back, etc). Both party now get what they want and the trade is completed, GM will take away the safe trade ticket.
In case of Paypal dispute, credit card charge back, etc from player B and caused the payment to be rejected, an Admin will investigate and if found this to be a fraud, player B will be fire walled from all defiance server with castle going back to player A's ownership.
Note: At no point, any money is pass on to the GM.
Note also: The ticket is not limited to out of game trades, it can also be used for in game trading steal-able items.

How do I donate or subscribe through PayPal?
- Register a free account at http://www.paypal.com
- Browse your Paypal profile options and attach your bank details/credit card to your Paypal account.
- Transfer funds from your bank account to your Paypal account free.
- Now your Paypal account has funds and can be used to pay with at almost any online site, as well as to start Paypal subscriptions.
- To cancel a subscription, simply go to your Paypal account, find any of the subscription payment details, click the subscription number and choose the option "cancel subscription".

Anti-Fraud System
Lately, more people have been complaining about problems claiming their donation item in game, and there is a very good reason for this.
Since about late 2006 we've had a new anti-fraud system installed to catch and report people who do "fake" donations, such as donating, claiming, and then doing a charge back or similar - this is highly illegal, even for a donation and banks hate having to deal with charge backs as it costs $ on their part, thus they want as little of it as possible or else they simply won't do business with the affiliated service.
The anti-fraud system will evaluate where in the world your payment is coming from, so if you register your cart user as living in "huba town, china", but the system evaluates that your donation came from "US, cambridge", it will queue your donation thus disallow you from claiming anything on the server.
This is why some more people have had claiming trouble.
To solve it, register a new donation cart user with the correct country/city region info, relative to where you actually are in the world when you donate, or edit your current user - always make sure that you put in the correct info both in the registered user and in the actual donation order.

I don't get my reward after donated....?
Its no secret that even automatic systems like the cart, requires the user to follow certain procedures, and if they are not followed the user has trouble claiming his goods.
in 99% of the cases, the user typed in something wrong in either his donation page account info or the direct order info.
If you run into any problem claiming your automatic donation, you should email devemg@defianceuo.com or/and admin@defianceuo.com WITH your 4digit order ID - it can also speed up things if you also page in game: "donation trouble" + the 4digit order ID.
[Editor note: If you do page in game, please be patient, this kind of problem can only be dealt with by an Admin, other staff members will leave your page untouched. An admin will assist you when one become available.]
Keep in mind, we can't help until we know who you are and what donation you've ordered... so we always need your order ID (4 digits), to do anything. In some cases, I know admins have received emails with "donation trouble", but never the order ID, then they've replied requesting the ID, and not heard back from the person, until the same person is either posting on a board or got into contact with staff in game.
so again! please always include order ID, and we will locate the problem for you and help you sort it out, in the case that you typed in wrong information or the rare case that Paypal/Worldpay should for some reason have denied your order. (anti fraud systems etc)
