[edit] The Main Concept
In most cases you won't get rewarded directly for winning a certain event anymore. This means, that you don't get a certain item placed in your banks anymore but you get so called "reward tokens" for winning an event. There are three different kinds of reward tokens available depending on how big an achievement you or your team has done.
[edit] The Tokens
A golden reward token is the best and equals 10 silver tokens or 100 bronze tokens. So basically one needs 10 of the smaller tokens to convert it into one bigger token.
Example:
1 golden token = 10 silver tokens = 100 bronze tokens 1 silver token = 10 bronze tokens
If someone has collected 367 bronze tokens, he could either keep it as it is or convert it into 36 silver and 7 bronze tokens or to 3 golden, 6 silver and 7 bronze ones.
[edit] What's the difference?
The difference from our current way of rewarding is the fact that you get to choose your rewards yourself. You can go and get a few small rewards, some medium ones or you can save up your reward tickets to get one of the great rewards which will be available. Basically it's up to you now to select your own reward from a set arsenal.
[edit] What's available?
At Britain's west bank you will find a "reward prize vendor", who will show you which prizes are available. To open the list, left-click him and select 'buy', or say "vendor buy".
Available Prizes:
In addition to the permanently available prizes there is the possibility for staff to host an auction for a special item every once in a while as well.
[edit] How do I get tokens?
Reward tokens are regularly given out to winners in Super Sunday events. The amount, and type, of tokens one receives for winning a certain event depends of the event type, size and -in very special cases- on the actual game itself.
Example: If a Super Sunday CTF is won in overtime the winning team might get a few more tokens.
In addition to that, there are a few monsters that have a chance to drop bronze and/or sliver tokens. There are also strong and slow-spawning monsters that have a chance of dropping gold tokens!
[edit] What creatures have a shot at dropping reward tokens
- Silver Dragon - Covetous (Bronze)
- Ogre Mages - Despise (Bronze)
- Bronze/Sliver Mages - Fire Dungeon (Drops respective tokens)
To summon the Bronze/Sliver Mages, A player needs to kill Evil Mages until one spawns.
- Borkarth the Lord of the Brood
- Thar'las the God of the Fiery Core
- Lord Zwiebus the undying Lord of Death
