Stonecrafting is a sub skill that can only be learned by grandmaster carpenters. Stonecrafting does not cost any skill points so it doesn’t affect your skillcap. To learn how to craft stone a GM Carpenter must read the book "Making Valuables With Stonecrafting" and to be able to gather resources you must read the book “Mining for Quality Stone” also to craft you will need Mallet and Chisels, All of these items can be purchased from a stone crafter.They only place other then player owned vendors you can buy these items is in doom, which you can only access if you have donator status.

[edit] How to gather stone

You will need mining to gather stone also know as granite and you will also need to set either your shovel or pickaxe to "Mine iron and stone" To do this single click your pickaxe or shovel and click the option.

The granite you mine can retain the color of every ore you can mine. From left to right: Iron, Dull copper, Shadow, Copper, Bronze, Gold, Agapite, Verite, and Valorite
