No, our server is truly a free server and you are not forced to pay a dime! However, we encourage and reward players to donate. As we rely on donations, for the servers survival and quality, it's highly appreciated. The donation sites can be found by clicking this link

There is an account management section on the Defiance Networks Main page. It's easy to run/understand and you can find it here.

Due to our new server we no longer need to delete accounts.

[edit] Does the shard reboot daily as the OSI shards do?

Due to the Upgrade in the Server we no longer need to reboot unless adding a Publish/Patch

Type [helpinfo in game to get a list of the commands in gump form or [help to get it in text form.

[edit] How long does it take to lose murder counts?

It takes 2 hours of in game time to burn off one short-term murder count and 10 hours in game time to burn off one long-term murder count. To view how many shorts/longs you have, write "I must consider my sins".

You may want to try checking razor in the general tab to make sure you don't have "Reward Gump" checked under the filters list. You also need a certain amount of gaming hours with reaching a certain account age in order to receive rewards.

No, guild stones decay outside of houses. Therefore we do not move them.

To sponsor a CTF, you’ll need to buy a CTF Ticket. You will find them in front of Britain West Bank. The NPC is called “Hava The Reward Agent”. It takes two golden tokens for one CTF Ticket. 10 bronze= 1 Silver, 10 Silver= 1 Gold

As per Publish 103 all Evos are now Wonderfully happy. all the time. They will not go wild anymore.

[edit] What is a Bulk order deed or a "BOD", and why would I want to fill one?

A bulk order deed is a deed an npc will offer you that he/she wants filled with a certain item or monster. If you fill a bulk order deed you can hand it back in to the npc and he/she will give you a reward! Check out our BOD Play Guide that has all the information on how to use and get BODs

[edit] What is a token, and what do I use it for?

A token is a prize that is handed out if you win an event. There are Bronze-, Silver- and Gold tokens. 10 Bronze tokens can be turned into 1 Silver token and 10 Silver tokens can be turned into 1 Gold. Also you can turn them in for prizes at a "Reward Agent".

[edit] What is a skillball?

A skillball is an item that you can use to raise a skill. They come in different denominations: +1, +5, +10, +15, +20, +25 and even +50. There is two types of skillballs: Unlimited(Blue) and Limited(Grey) skillballs. Limited only work on some skills while Unlimited work on all skills.

[edit] Why would I donate?

Donations help with the monthly server fee! Without donations the sever couldn't survive.

[edit] What does (Defiance Blessed) mean on a house?

It means the house owners account is of donation membership, meaning that the house will only need to be refreshed once a year - unless his membership runs out.

[edit] How do I get a defiance membership?

You can type [donate ingame which will bring you to the defiance donation website. From here you can click Defiance Membership and choose which shard and how long you want it to last. Another alternative is going into either Defiance: UOR Shard or Defiance: AoS Shard, buy a bundle which includes a Permanent Membership Ticket.
